We drifted into the estuary to watch a lone male grizzly looking for salmon. As we got closer, his intense stare keep track of our book. I tried to get lower in the boat to be on the same eye level as the big grizzly. The beautiful rim lighting along the side of his face and the low camera angle makes this image one of my favourites from our trip.
